Hiking and more penguins

Thurs Jan 21: Banks Penninsula hike day #1

Hiked up up up in the morning to the tippy top of the banks peninsula, then along cliffs and ridges and down to Flea Bay for the night.

The girls swam in the bay and built a great sand castle. Saw blue and yellow –eyed penguins at night with the local farmer who has been conserving the birds on his land for 20 years or so. Pretty cool.
