So, I see the road going into the hills, but not coming out.  Could this mean climbing soon???

To Hanmer Springs—Up early for me, on the bike for a 9 hour Century. 160K total , last 70K on Kiwi Brevet route, about 2/3 paved. (Sealed in Kiwispeak).  Anyone who tries to race this Kiwi Brevet is going to hit a very big wall quickly.

The girls spent the morning in Christchurch at the Anarctic center, playing in the fake snowstorms and riding the Zodiac transport vehicle.  I met the girls at our camp/motel, a school camp with cabins and group kitchens.
